In February 2008,  Mike Murphy and Mindy Affrime (GITK LLC) succeeded in buying back the GITK film rights from Warner Bros. The film will begin shooting this Summer.

Creative team includes Mindy Affrime, Producer; Susan Streitfeld, Feature Film Director; Roger Guyett, Visual Effects Supervisor; Arturo Smith, Director of Photography; Jeffrey Kushon, Designer, Curtiss Clayton, Editor, Jonathan Dana, Head of Distribution; Mark Halloran, Attorney and Heidi Levitt, Casting Director.

Principal actors include David O'Hara ("The Departed," "Hotel Rwanda," "Braveheart" "The Devil's Own,") as Shivas Irons; Mason Gamble ("Gentleman's Game," "Rushmore," "Dennis the Menace") as young Michael Murphy; Frances Fisher ("Titanic," "In the Valley of Elah," "The Kingdom," "Female Perversions") as Eve; and Malcolm McDowell ("Clockwork Orange," "Doomsday," "My Life So Far") as Peter, John Hannah ("Four Weddings and a Funeral", "Sliding Doors", "The Mummy").
