Susan Streitfeld and Mike Murphy join me in thanking you for your continuous support and excitement for the upcoming movie of the beloved book, GOLF IN THE KINGDOM. If you have any questions, we have created a contact page. We have also included some fun photos to give you all a taste of the movie, plus the Key Stats page! As to the all important question of when will you get to see the film - that remains a mystery. Or, as Shivas would say, keep asking the questions.. the best ones have no answer!! Keep asking!! Or in this case, Keep swinging! Thanks agains and I promise more later, Mindy SPRING 2009 - We have wrapped up shooting in Bandon Dunes, Oregon - at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. The cast is:
Principal actors include David O'Hara ("The Departed," "Hotel Rwanda," "Braveheart" "The Devil's Own,") as Shivas Irons; Mason Gamble ("Gentleman's Game," "Rushmore," "Dennis the Menace") as young Michael Murphy; Frances Fisher ("Titanic," "In the Valley of Elah," "The Kingdom," "Female Perversions") as Eve; and Malcolm McDowell ("Clockwork Orange," "Doomsday," "My Life So Far") as Peter.
Lightning Entertainment is handling international sales for Golf in the Kingdom: Lightning Entertainment Golf Digest/Golf World Magazines- Golf Digest has been designated as an official partner of GOLF IN THE KINGDOM LLC.
